kawbet Privacy Policy
kawbet is committed to protecting the personal data of every Filipino player on the platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the rights you hold under Philippine data protection law.
Privacy at a Glance
Six principles that define how kawbet handles your personal information — before you read the full policy below.
Philippine DPA 2012 Compliance
kawbet operates in full compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and the implementing rules and regulations issued by the National Privacy Commission (NPC). Your personal data rights as a Philippine resident are fully recognized and enforceable under our practices.
Minimal, Purposeful Data Collection
kawbet collects only the personal data that is strictly necessary to operate the platform, comply with PAGCOR's KYC requirements, process PHP transactions via GCash and Maya, and provide customer support. We do not collect personal data speculatively or for purposes unrelated to the kawbet service.
End-to-End Encryption
All personal data transmitted between your device and kawbet's servers is protected by 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption. Data stored on kawbet's secure servers is encrypted at rest using industry-standard protocols. Your login credentials, payment details, and identity documents are never stored or transmitted in plaintext.
No Unauthorized Third-Party Sharing
kawbet does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third-party marketers or data brokers. Data sharing with third parties is strictly limited to what is required by PAGCOR regulations, Philippine AMLA compliance, licensed payment processors (GCash, Maya, BPI, BDO), and certified game providers — and only under contractual data protection obligations.
Your Data Rights Are Respected
Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act, you have the right to access, correct, erase, object to, and port your personal data. kawbet provides a clear process for exercising each of these rights. Requests are acknowledged within five business days and fulfilled within the timeframes prescribed by the NPC.
Defined Retention Periods
kawbet retains personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by PAGCOR regulations and Philippine law. Account data is retained for a defined period following account closure, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized in accordance with our data retention schedule.

4. How kawbet Uses Your Personal Data
kawbet uses the personal data collected for the following specific purposes:
4.1 Platform Operations
To create, verify, and maintain your kawbet Account; to process deposits and withdrawals via GCash, Maya, BPI, BDO, and other accepted Philippine payment methods; to display your real-time PHP balance and transaction history; and to provide access to the kawbet game lobby and associated services.
4.2 Regulatory Compliance

4.4 Responsible Gaming
To monitor gaming activity for patterns indicative of problem gambling; to enforce player-set deposit limits, session timers, and self-exclusion instructions; and to comply with PAGCOR's responsible gaming program requirements.
4.5 Customer Support
To respond to your queries, complaints, and support requests through kawbet's live chat and email support channels; to maintain records of communications for quality assurance and dispute resolution purposes.
4.6 Marketing Communications (Consent-Based Only)
Where you have explicitly opted in, to send you information about kawbet promotions, bonuses, and platform updates. Withdrawal of marketing consent does not affect your ability to use the kawbet platform.
4.7 Platform Analytics
To analyze aggregated, anonymized usage patterns to improve the kawbet platform's functionality, game library, and user experience for Filipino players. Analytics data used for this purpose is de-identified and cannot be used to identify individual players.
5. Data Sharing with Third Parties
kawbet does not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal data to third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes. Personal data is shared with third parties only in the following strictly defined circumstances:
5.1 Payment Processors
Personal and financial data necessary to process transactions is shared with kawbet's authorized payment processing partners — including GCash (G-Xchange, Inc.), Maya (PayMaya Philippines, Inc.), BPI, BDO, Metrobank, and other accepted payment channels — solely for the purpose of executing deposits and withdrawals to and from your kawbet Account. These partners are subject to their own privacy policies and data protection obligations under Philippine law.
5.2 Game Providers
Limited technical data (such as session tokens and wager history) is shared with licensed game providers — including Evolution Gaming and Pragmatic Play — as necessary to deliver game content within the kawbet platform. Game providers operate under contractual data processing agreements with kawbet and are permitted to use shared data only for game delivery purposes.
5.3 Regulatory Authorities
kawbet is legally obligated to share certain personal and transactional data with PAGCOR and the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) upon lawful request or as required by applicable Philippine regulation. kawbet will comply with all lawful regulatory disclosure requirements.
5.4 KYC & Identity Verification Partners
Identity documentation may be processed by kawbet's authorized third-party KYC service providers for the purpose of verifying player identity and age. These providers operate under binding data processing agreements and are prohibited from using your data for any purpose other than identity verification.

Any international data transfers that may occur in the delivery of platform services (e.g., through internationally hosted game provider infrastructure) are conducted under contractual safeguards consistent with the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
kawbet uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate the Platform, maintain your session state, and improve your user experience. The categories of cookies used are:
6.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the kawbet platform to function. They maintain your login session, preserve your account preferences, and ensure the security of your authenticated session. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled without preventing core platform functionality.
6.2 Functional Cookies
These cookies remember your language preference, game display settings, and other personalization choices to provide a more consistent experience across sessions on the kawbet platform.
6.3 Analytics Cookies
kawbet uses first-party analytics cookies to collect anonymized data about how players navigate and use the Platform — including which game categories are most visited and how long sessions typically last. This data is used exclusively to improve platform design and performance. Analytics cookies do not identify individual players and are not shared with third-party advertisers.
6.4 Managing Cookies
You may configure your browser to refuse non-essential cookies at any time. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will impair your ability to log in and use the kawbet platform. Cookie management instructions vary by browser — refer to your browser's help documentation for guidance specific to Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or your preferred browser on Globe or Smart mobile.
7. Data Security Measures
kawbet implements a comprehensive set of technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include:

- Incident response procedures — kawbet maintains documented procedures for detecting, investigating, and responding to personal data breaches (see Section 12)
While kawbet implements rigorous security measures, no online platform can guarantee absolute security. You are also responsible for maintaining the security of your kawbet account credentials. Never share your password or OTP codes with any third party — kawbet will never ask for these through live chat, email, or SMS.
8. Data Retention Periods

9. Your Data Privacy Rights
Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, as a Philippine resident you hold the following rights in respect of your personal data processed by kawbet:
9.1 Right to Be Informed
You have the right to be informed of how your personal data is being collected, used, and processed. This Privacy Policy fulfills kawbet's obligation to inform you. For specific queries not answered here, contact our Data Protection Officer (Section 14).
9.2 Right to Access
You have the right to request a copy of the personal data kawbet holds about you, along with information about how it is being used. Access requests will be responded to within 30 days of receipt.
9.3 Right to Correction
You have the right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data in your kawbet Account. Basic corrections (email address, mobile number, address) can be made through Account Settings. Corrections to identity documents require submission of updated KYC documentation.
9.4 Right to Erasure
You have the right to request deletion of your personal data where it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, where consent has been withdrawn (and no other legal basis applies), or where processing is unlawful. This right is subject to kawbet's legal retention obligations under PAGCOR regulations and AMLA — data that must be retained by law cannot be deleted before the mandatory retention period expires.
9.5 Right to Object
You have the right to object to processing of your personal data where that processing is based on kawbet's legitimate interest. You may also opt out of marketing communications at any time without affecting your account access or gaming rights.
9.6 Right to Data Portability

9.7 Right to Complain to the NPC
If you believe kawbet has not handled your personal data in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) of the Philippines. kawbet encourages you to first contact our Data Protection Officer so we can attempt to resolve your concern directly before escalation to the NPC.
Exercising Your Rights: To exercise any of the above rights, submit a written request to kawbet's Data Protection Officer at [email protected] with the subject line "Data Privacy Request." Include your registered email address and a description of the specific right you wish to exercise. We will acknowledge your request within five business days.
10. Minors & Age Restriction Policy
kawbet does not knowingly collect personal data from any person under the age of 21. The minimum age for kawbet account registration and platform use is 21 years, as mandated by PAGCOR regulations. Age verification is conducted as part of the KYC process before any real-money gaming activity is activated.
If kawbet becomes aware that personal data has been collected from an individual under 21 years of age — whether through a failed age verification check, a report from a third party, or any other means — kawbet will immediately:
- Suspend the relevant account and cease all associated data processing
- Notify the appropriate contacts where required by law or PAGCOR regulation
- Delete the data collected from the underage individual, subject to any record-keeping obligations imposed by PAGCOR or Philippine law
Parents and guardians who have reason to believe their child may have accessed the kawbet platform are encouraged to contact kawbet's support team immediately at [email protected]. kawbet will investigate and take prompt remedial action.
11. International Data Transfers
kawbet's primary operations are based in the Philippines and personal data is primarily processed and stored on servers within or serving the Philippine market. Some personal data may be processed outside the Philippines where kawbet's licensed game providers operate their game delivery infrastructure from international data centers.
Where personal data is transferred outside the Philippines, kawbet ensures that such transfers are conducted under appropriate safeguards, including:
- Contractual data processing agreements that impose obligations on recipient parties equivalent to those required under the Data Privacy Act of 2012
- Transfers only to entities in jurisdictions that maintain data protection standards recognized as adequate by the National Privacy Commission
- Strict limitations on the purposes for which transferred data may be used by recipient third parties
kawbet does not transfer Philippine player personal data internationally for marketing, profiling, or commercial exploitation purposes.
12. Data Breach Response Protocol
kawbet maintains documented procedures for detecting, containing, investigating, and notifying relevant parties in the event of a personal data breach. In the event of a breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms:
- kawbet will notify the National Privacy Commission (NPC) within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, as required by NPC Circular No. 16-03
- Affected players will be notified within a reasonable period where the breach is likely to result in high risk to their personal rights and freedoms, with details of the nature of the breach and recommended protective steps
- kawbet will document all breaches, their effects, and the remedial actions taken, regardless of whether NPC notification is required
kawbet's security team conducts regular vulnerability assessments to proactively identify and address potential security weaknesses before they can be exploited.
13. Amendments to This Privacy Policy
kawbet reserves the right to update or amend this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in our data processing practices, changes in applicable Philippine law or PAGCOR regulation, or operational changes to the kawbet platform.
Material changes to this Privacy Policy will be communicated to registered players via email to their registered address and/or through a notice displayed on the kawbet platform at least seven (7) days before the updated Policy takes effect. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this Policy will be revised accordingly.
Your continued use of the kawbet platform following the effective date of an updated Privacy Policy constitutes your acknowledgment of the changes. If you do not agree to the updated Policy, you must cease using the platform and may request account closure in accordance with kawbet's Terms & Conditions.
